
Charlotte Knights are hosting a FREE MLB Pitch Hit & Run event on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Truist Field, 324 S Mint Street, Charlotte, North arolina.
This event, part of Play Ball Weekend is a contest for any baseball or softball player interested, ages 7-14. It’s free, but registration is required. (Walk-ups are based on availability.)
The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with check-in at 8 a.m.
Participation in the event gives athletes a chance to compete and earn a spot in a Team Championship. Team Championship finalists advance to the Finals round hosted at the 2025 World Series – all expenses paid.
Paid parking is available in the Mint Street Parking Deck, located at the Residence Inn. There are other parking options in the area.
The benefits of registering for a Pitch, Hit & Run event include the opportunity to receive a complimentary 2025 MLB.tv subscription, exclusive access to virtual and in-person youth softball & baseball programming, discounts on MLB-licensed merchandise and equipment, and much more. Again, this is a FREE event.
Players should not wear cleats or spikes, and they should bring their own bat if they can.
Parents are welcome to stay and watch their kids in the competition, but they need to remain in the areas that are not blocked off during the event.
