Naughty Donkey Farm Sanctuary, in Albemarle, NC, rescues and cares for abandoned and neglected senior and special needs animals.
They provide sanctuary, safe housing, nutritious food, medical care, and lots of love to dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, goats, alpacas, and, yes, one naughty donkey.
It’s just under an hour drive from Charlotte, and closer to Mint Hill, Midland and Mt. Pleasant.

Deck the Stalls: Holiday Open House & Artisan Market
On Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Naughty Donkey Farm Sanctuary is hosting Deck the Stalls: Holiday Open House and Artisan Market. The cost is $15 per car. Proceeds help to support the rescue animals.
Interact with the goats, alpacas, chickens, ducks, turkey and naughty donkey, meet adoptable dogs, snap selfies in the photo spots, pose for photos with the Grinch, and enjoy the hot chocolate bar while you shop with local vendors.
