Rice Family Community Events is partnering with the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers to present Movie Night at the Ballpark at Atrium Health Ballpark, 1 Cannon Baller Way, Kannapolis, North Carolina, on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The movie will be Monsters, Inc., and it’s the 25th anniversary of the movie!
Admission is FREE.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the movie starts at 6:30 p.m.
Come to Gate 1 from 5:30 to 6:16 p.m., to meet some amazing characters for FREE! This bonus activity was announced on Facebook.
Confirmed characters for the meet and greet include:
- Bumblebee
- Darth Vader
- Chewbacca
- Batman
Seating for the movie is first come, first served in the stands, outfield and picnic area. You can sit in the outfield, but with blankets only — no strollers, chairs or wagons on the field.
Concessions will be available for purchase.
