Free Art Kids at Mint Museum Randolph
From March 1st to 4th, 2023, pick up a free art kit at Mint Museum Randolph. Pick them up any time the museum is open, while supplies last. Cubist Collage is a fun all-ages project to create at home.
Learn about artist Romare Bearden and his connection to cubism and create a colorful mini-collage. This kit includes collage papers, scissors, pencil, glue stick and matboard base.
Drop-In Art at Mint Museum Randolph
Every Wednesday from February 1st to April 26th, 2023, the Art Room is open at Mint Museum Randolph from 4 to 8 p.m. Enjoy self-directed creative fun for all ages. This winter/spring you can explore drawing, clay, collage, and fiber art activities. A museum educator will be on hand to introduce you to the artmaking stations and provide encouragement and helpful tips. Included in the price of admission. Admission is free after 5 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Party in the Park at Mint Museum Randolph

The last Sunday of the month, during the warmer months, enjoy free admission to the museum, plus food trucks, live music and a cash bar on the front terrace.
Party in the Park returns Sunday, March 26th, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Kick-off the first weekend of spring with a Sunday afternoon of art and music at Party in the Park. The lead-off event of the third-annual event series, presented by Principal Foundation, celebrates the installation Guiding Winds by local artist Rosalia Torres-Wiener on view at Mint Museum Randolph. Enjoy live music by Café Amaretto and a cash bar on the terrace at the museum, plus food trucks and free museum admission.
From 1- 2 p.m., all ages can make shakers and noise makers before the 2 p.m. screening of Torres-Weiner’s film “The Magic Kite,” followed by an artist talk with Torres-Weiner.

Free Wednesday Evenings
Admission to both museums is free every Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Wednesday nights, Mint Museum Uptown’s free night is part of Wednesday Night Live, during which the Gantt Center and Bechtler Museum are also free to visit, and there is a performance, film or other special activity at one of the venues.

The first full weekend of the month, customers of Bank of America and Merrill get one free admission to the Mint Museum.
