Mint Museum is bringing the sounds of piano music to Mint Museum Uptown, 500 S. Tryon Street, Charlotte, North Carolina, through a partnership with the Steinway Piano Gallery.
On the 3rd Wednesday of the month, from 6 to 6:45 p.m., a rotating lineup of talented local and regional pianists will fill the museum space with piano performances, free to enjoy!
The Steinway Residency Series will take place during Wednesday Night Live, which features free admission to the Mint Museum Uptown, The Bechtler Museum and the Gantt Center, from 5 to 9 p.m. every Wednesday.
First up to kick off the series is Ethan Uslan on April 15, 2026. Uslan’s vast repertoire includes original arrangements of New Orleans Jazz, blues, and ragtime.
A three-time winner of the World Championship Old-Time Piano Playing Contest, Uslan has performed throughout the United States and Europe. He was also prominently featured in the documentary “The Entertainers” and his jazz rendition of Bach’s “Minuet in G” was used in the AMC series “Interview With the Vampire.”
