
Both locations of Mint Museum offer FREE admission to kids and youth every day. The free admission is offered to anyone age 18 or younger. College art students are also admitted for free.
Mint Museum has two locations in Charlotte:
Mint Museum Uptown
Levine Center for the Arts
500 S Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC
Mint Museum Randolph
2730 Randolph Road, Charlotte, NC
Admission for adults is $15. College students, teachers and seniors (65+) with ID are admitted for $10.

Free Art Kits: Bead Sculpture
March 4 to 7, 2026
Mint Museum Randolph
Pick up during museum hours
This month use colorful beads and fuzzy stems to construct a work of art inspired by Katrina Sánchez’s tembleque sculpture in “Interventions: Weaving Joy, Woven Resistance” on view at Mint Museum Randolph.
Lewis Family Gallery
Wednesdays, 5 to 8 p.m.
Fridays and Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sundays, 1 to 5 p.m.
Mint Museum Uptown
This is a hands-on space to build, explore and create.
Drop-in Art
Wednesday from March 4 to April 8, 2026
5 to 8 p.m.
Mint Museum Randolph
Open-ended creative fun for all ages, with a museum educator on hand to inspire and guide. Please note that admission is free for everyone on Wednesdays after 5 p.m.
