Build the Thrill, a LEGO® Formula 1 Off Track experience, is coming to Symphony Park, 4400 Sharon Road, Charlotte, North Carolina, Friday, July 11, to Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
This is a FREE event, best suited for families and kids ages 6-12, but open to all ages.
This immersive activation is designed to captivate racing fans of all ages with a variety of play zones where participants can build, race and explore the many ways to bring the race home with LEGO Formula 1.
For both seasoned racing enthusiasts and curious newcomers, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
From hands-on building activities to high-speed racing simulations, each zone offers a unique opportunity to learn, create and compete with LEGO bricks.

Build the Thrill Play Zones
- Life-sized LEGO Formula 1 Red Bull Brick-built car: Check out one of the big builds as seen in the Miami Grand Prix Drivers’ Parade.
- Race Lab: Build and customize a mini-LEGO racecar.
- Wind Tunnel: Test the car in a wind tunnel simulation, just like those used by Formula 1 teams to see how air moves around their race cars.
- Driver’s License: Get your photo taken and earn a LEGO Formula 1 driver’s license.
- Thrill City Circuit: Race the custom-built LEGO Formula 1 mini racecar on the Thrill City Circuit and watch as the go-pro captures the lap on video in real time.
- Graffiti Wall: Get creative and add a brick-built creation to the collaborative Graffiti Wall.
- Pit Lane Challenge: Participants join the pit crew and test their skills in time-based pit stop games.
- Product Displays: Explore the latest LEGO sets to fuel the fandom from LEGO Speed Champions, LEGO Technic™, LEGO Icons, LEGO DUPLO® and more.
