Regal Entertainment Group’s Summer Movie Express
Regal Entertainment Group’s Summer Movie Express presents family movies for just $1 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from June 10 to August 5, 2025. Each day you’ll have two movies to choose from. Times vary by theater.
A $5 Snack Pack is available with each ticket.

- June 17 and 18: Trolls Band Together and If
- June 24 and 25: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and The Bad Guys

Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse
Cinemark offers Summer Movie Clubhouse, with 10 weeks of movies for $1.75 each, plus taxes. All screenings are at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesdays. They take place from June 4 to August 6, 2025. Select locations also host showtimes on other days of the week.
There is also special dollar-off pricing on kids’ snack packs, popcorn and drink combos.

AMC’s Summer Movie Camp for Kids
AMC’s Summer Movie Camp for Kids takes place Mondays and Wednesday, from June 23 to August 13, 2025, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tickets are $3. Details might differ at some locations.

Gem Theatre’s Summer Matinees
Kannapolis’ Gem Theatre, at 111 West 1st Street, Kannapolis, NC, is hosting a Summer Matinee movie series in 2025. Every Tuesday and Thursday from May 27 to August 7, 2025, a family-friendly movie will be shown at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., with a ticket price of only $2.

Cinergy has one Charlotte location, at 5336 Docia Crossing, Charlotte. This is in the north part of Charlotte. Cinergy’s Kids Summer Movie Series features movies on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from June 3 to August 7, 2025. The movies start at 10 a.m., and tickets are $2.

Check back soon for Stone Theatres‘s Poppy’s Summer Movie Magic. (Sun Valley 14 in Indian Trail and RedStone 14 in Indian Land, SC) In 2024, the program featured $2.50 kids’ movies every Wednesday and Thursday from late May to early August at 10 a.m.
