Regal Entertainment Group’s Summer Movie Express

Regal Entertainment Group’s Summer Movie Express has expanded for 2026. This year it will be presenting family movies for just $1 four days a week: Monday to Thursday, from June 1 to August 13, 2026. Movies start at 11 a.m. Participating theaters only.

In addition, attendees will receive $3 off a Snack Pack.

June 8 to 11: King Fu Panda 4 and David
June 15 to 18: KPop Demon Hunters: A Sing-Along Event and Wild Robot

Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse

Cinemark offers Summer Movie Clubhouse, with 10 weeks of movies for $1.75 each, plus taxes. All screenings are at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesdays, from June 1 to August 6, 2026. Select locations also host showtimes on other days of the week.

There is also special dollar-off pricing on kids’ snack packs, popcorn and drink combos.

Gem Theatre’s Summer Matinees

Kannapolis’ Gem Theatre, at 111 West 1st Street, Kannapolis, NC, is hosting a Summer Matinee movie series in 2026. Every Tuesday and Thursday from May 26 to August 6, 2026, a family-friendly movie will be shown at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., with a ticket price of only $2.

Cinergy has one Charlotte location, at 5336 Docia Crossing, Charlotte. This is in the north part of Charlotte. Cinergy’s Kids Summer Movie Series features movies on Monday to Thursday mornings from May 25 to August 6, 2026. The movies start at 10 a.m., and tickets are $3.
