Lowe’s Kids’ Workshops are fun, in-person workshops that give kids a chance to build a simple (usually seasonal) toy or accessory.
The workshops, which are free, teach kids basic building skills, as well as safety.
Lowe’s had to pause the in-person clinics last spring, but they are offering FREE take-home kits!
DIY Kids Workshop kits can be picked up at your local store on select dates. You need to register to receive one, and then stop by the customer service desk store to pick it up.
Check the Lowe’s DIY page frequently to see announcement of new kits. Pickup is typically the 2nd weekend of the month.
At the end of the time period, any kits that haven’t been claimed might be given away to other customers. If registration at your local store was full, give them a call at the end of the weekend to see if any haven’t been picked up.
The kits are designed for kids age 4-11 and include instructions and all the supplies needed.
