Do you live in or near Kannapolis, North Carolina, and want to get out, get some exercise, and meet people? Kannapolis Girls Who Walk might be for you!
Kannapolis Girls Who Walk is, at its heart, a walking club for women. The large, inclusive group meets several times a week for community walks.
Some weekly walks (at the time of this posting, July 28, 2025) include:
- Mondays: Meet at Village Park at 6:30 p.m.
- Tuesdays: Meet at Swanee Theater at 6:30 p.m.
- Saturdays: Meet at Veni Vidi Vici at 9 a.m.
Kannapolis Girls Who Walk shares all their events and updates on their Facebook and Instagram pages. The pages are kept up to date, with events added to their calendar well in advance, giving everyone plenty of time to plan.

The City of Kannapolis sometimes provides free snacks and water, and sometimes a local Kannapolis business kicks in a goody too — at an upcoming walk, The Vitamin Shoppe is giving hydration samples to walkers.
Beyond getting their steps in, members form community, get out of their comfort zone and support local businesses.
The group has formed a book club, offered pop-up fitness classes, hosted pizza-making nights, gone to a Kannapolis Cannon Baller baseball game, and more.
It’s totally free to join — no membership fees and no pressure.
