JAARS is an organization that provides Bible translation to remote areas. It also delivers medical supplies and other humanitarian aid, and transports missionaries. The organization is headquartered at 7710 Jaars Road, Waxhaw, North Carolina.
JAARS is hosting JAARS Day on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
The event features:
- Demos and displays from the Air, Land and Sea Operations
- Food trucks
- Interactive museum exhibits
- Hands-on children’s activities
- Helicopter, airplane and 4×4 rides (for a cost; see below)
- Mingle with JAARS staff and hear their exciting stories
Rides on helicopters, airplanes and 4WD vehicles are available for a cost. If you want to go on a ride, make sure to get there early because slots might fill up.
- Helicopter: $45
- Airplanes: $40
- 4WD: $10
