Gilde Brewery, at 3530 Dewitt Lane, Charlotte, North Carolina is an authentic German brewery with a brewing history of several hundred years in Hannover, Germany.
It chose Charlotte to be its North American headquarters for brewing and distribution in 2019. Gilde Brewing actually has a long and unique connection with Charlotte — Queen Charlotte, the city’s namesake, was the Electress of Hannover in the 18th century.
Gilde’s Charlotte brewery combines the German brewing tradition and German cuisine with the creativity of the American craft beer movement.
