March is National Reading Month, and one great way to foster a love of reading in children is through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
This program provides children with a FREE age-appropriate book, every month, sent directly to your home.
Children who haven’t yet turned five years old are eligible, starting at birth.
You can register your child any time, as long as they are in the appropriate age bracket.
The books are ordered on the 4th of each month for delivery the last week of the following month. It can take up to 8-9 weeks to receive your first book, but after that they come regularly each month.
For example, if you registered your child on June 3rd, you would receive your book the last week of July. If your child was registered after June 4th, it would then fall into the July 4th order to be delivered for the last week of August.
Not every zip code is eligible, so you’ll need to plug in your zip code to check. Check your availability here, and then, if your zip code is eligible, you can register your child.
