Museum of the Alphabet, at 6409 Davis Road, Waxhaw, takes a close look at language, culture and Bible translation. Trace the history of writing and learn where your alphabet came from.
Museum of the Alphabet is open and free to visit. It’s open Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The museum also presents some special events throughout the year.

This event is perfect for kids preschool – 4th grade. Children and their famlies can enjoy a story, followed by a craft or activity related to the content. It will take place outside to the left of the Museum of the Alphabet. In case of inclement weather, the alternative location will be announced on the Museum of the Alphabet Facebook page.
