Martin Luther King Jr. National Observance will feature the work of Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools students.
It takes place at Halton Theater, 1206 Elizabeth Avenue on the CPCC campus, on Monday, January 20th, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
It’s free to attend.
It’s a celebration of Mecklenburg’s diversity, featuring music, dance and poetry.
Speakers examine Dr. King’s moral theological and philosophical underpinnings.
The program includes recognition for the winners of the CMS Arts & Writing Contest.
