The Town of Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, is hosting an early Independence Day celebration on Saturday, June 22, 2024.
Mount Pleasant, in Cabarrus County, is about 44 minutes from the center of Charlotte. It’s about a 15 minute drive, to the east, from Concord.
Check out a huge list of 4th of July fireworks, parades and celebrations in the Charlotte area.
It will start with a parade, which will set off from North Washington Street.
Then, at Town Hall, 8590 Park Drive, Mount Pleasant, the celebration will continue, with:
- 6 p.m.: DJ Eric Bowman
- “A Taste of Mount Pleasant” (showcasing local restaurants)
- 7 p.m.: Live music from Too Much Sylvia
- Shag contest at intermission
- 10 p.m.: Fireworks
