The Eastern Cabarrus Historical Society Museum is reopening for the season on Saturday, March 7th, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This is a free event.
The museum, housed in a building of the former Mount Pleasant Collegiate Institute, will celebrate opening for the season with free admission, tours and hotdogs!
Adults and children will enjoy touring the museum’s 30 themed rooms that celebrate the history of the area.
The Museum building contains 30 rooms holding artifacts, photographs and documents relating to the history of Eastern Cabarrus County and beyond.
Each room is themed and contains items donated or loaned to the Society by local individuals and families ranging from old farm tools and vintage clothing to items from the Civil War through the Iraq War.
