Charlotte Mecklenburg Library is presenting a Multicultural Family Storytime that focuses on Diwali, Festival of Lights. Learn about and enjoy Diwali, the 5-day festival of lights, which is such an important winter holiday in India.
The Multicultural Family Storytime takes place Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m., at North County Regional Library, 16500 Holly Crest Lane, Huntersville, North Carolina. Registration is required.
Your whole family can enjoy stories, songs, and activities that support literacy development and help foster a love of books.
Children and their families can experience a special multicultural story time, followed by a special dance presentation.
All families can participate in the Rangoli craft station located in the Makerspace. These activities will focus on books, crafts and music from India.
