Discovery Place offering $1/person admission to low-income families

Discovery Place offers low-cost admission to low-income families. Those who present an EBT (electronic benefit transfer) card or WIC (Women, infants and children) card at admission will pay $1 per person, up to six people in a family.

This price will be valid at all Discovery Place museums, including Discovery Place Science, Discovery Place Kids in Huntersville, Discovery Place Kids in Rockingham and Discovery Place Nature.

This move is part of a nationwide trend toward removing the educational barriers that low-income families experience. Make sure to spread the word so that families learn about it.
