Carolina Renaissance Festival is making the Charlotte area more festive and fun! It is taking place Saturdays and Sundays from October 2nd to November 21st, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

We are listing some discounts, but please note that for most of them you need a coupon, which you should be able to find at Harris Teeter, Chick-fil-A, or Autobell. You can also find them in Valpak.

We are also holding one last contest! 6 winners will each win 5 tickets each! Read on (or scroll down, as you prefer) to enter the contest.

Ticket Prices

Gate prices are:

  • Adults: $28
  • Children age 5-12: $18
  • Seniors 60+: $25
  • Active or retired military personnel: $25
  • Child dependents of active and/or retired military personnel: $15

Opening Weekend

October 2nd and 3rd, 2021: Receive 1 adult ticket with the purchase of 1 full-price adult ticket. Coupon is required. Here is where to find the coupons.

Kids’ Fantasy Weekend

October 9th and 10th, 2021: Receive 1 child ticket with the purchase of 1 full price adult ticket. Coupon is required. Here is where to find the coupons.

Deaf Awareness Day

Saturday, October 30th, 2021: Certified sign language interpreters will interpret stage performances at select stages inside the village. Student interpreters from CPCC will be available to assist with communications in the streets and lanes, members of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community can save with discount admission. Stop by the Deaf Awareness Information Booth located outside the village entrance.

Halloween Daze and Spooky Knights

October 30th and 31st, 2021: Free child admission. No coupon required for all children age 12 and under. Free and safe trick or treating with free treats at over 100 locations throughout the Festival Village. There will also be a children’s Halloween Treasure Hunt with Treasure Chest filled with prizes.

Pirates’ Christmas Weekend

November 6th and 7th, 2021: There will be special pirate-themed entertainment all weekend. Spend $250 or more in arts and crafts at the festival and receive two FREE $28 Renaissance Festival tickets valid the remaining two weekends of the season.

Also, compete in the Pirate Costume Contest for a chance to win tickets and other prizes.

Time Travelers’ Weekend

November 13th and 14th, 2021: Kids age 5-12 are admitted for free with a donation of school supplies. Come dressed as your favorite time traveling character for a chance to win prizes in a costume contest.

Final Huzzah

November 20th and 21st, 2021: Kids age 5-12 are admitted for free with a donation of a can of food.

Carolina Renaissance Festival Features

Carolina Renaissance Festival is one of the Charlotte area’s biggest and most popular fall events. Enjoy an open air Artisan Market, games, rides, jousting knights, falconry, feasting and more.

Jousting Knights

Three times a day knights will battle for the Queen’s honor int he shire’s tournament arena.

Artisan Market

Shop for gifts for others or for yourself! You’ll find glass blowing, blacksmithing, cobblers, potters, candle makers, sculptors, leather workers, jewelers and more.

Falconry

Falconry was known as the “sport of kings.” Find out why as you watch these majestic birds in flight.

Sea Fairy Mermaids

Catch a glimpse of living mermaids as they perform underwater!

More entertainment

There are fourteen stages of entertainment, including comedy, music, dance vaudeville and circus entertainment. Over 500 costumed villagers roam the streets as well!

All Day Play

Ride the world’s largest rocking house, try out Da Vinci’s Flying Machine. Sail on the Voyage to the New World. Ride a camel. Meet the animals in the Village Petting Farm. Try out archery, ride the Pirate’s Assault Catapult, or throw a tomato at a surly peasant.

    My favorite fall memeory is always the Ren Faire! 15 years ago we moved up here from South Florida, homesick and sad we found out about the Ren Faire and it made us feel alittle more at home in our new state! Back in Florida we had never missed one !

    My boy friend and I have 6 kids between us, How ever we just became a placement (Temporary guardian) for my sisters 4 kids. I know there are a lot of people who want to win these tickets.
