
Matthews Community Farmers’ Market, at 188 N Trade Street, Matthews, North Carolina, is hosting their 1st Annual Corn Roast on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 9 to 11 a.m., or until supplies run out.
This is the start of a new tradition at Matthews Farmers’ Market! Announced on Facebook.
While you’re there, make sure to shop the rest of the market for all your 4th of July needs! It’s local! Matthews Community Farmers Market is a producer-only market featuring farmers, food makers, and farm crafters from within about 60 miles of Matthews.
They’ll be roasting fresh, locally grown NC sweet corn on the central patio, and serving it hot off the roaster. Stop by and enjoy a FREE ear of delicious roasted sweet corn, fresh from the farm. Dress it up just the way you like it with butter and a variety of tasty toppings.
This is a free, family-friendly event, and everyone is welcome! Bring your family, invite your friends, tell your neighbors, and come enjoy great local food while spending a summer morning at the market. They will have plenty of corn!
