Celebrate the art of clay at the Clayworks Spring Studio Festival! This two-day community event brings together 25+ ceramic artists, live music, hands-on activities, and the vibrant energy of the Clayworks community.
What to Expect
- 25+ Artist Studio Sale: Shop original ceramics directly from the makers across a range of styles, forms, and price points.
- Community Raku Firing (10AM–2PM): Watch Clayworks students participate in a traditional raku firing, a dramatic and exciting process where pots are removed from the kiln at peak temperature. This is a spectator experience – free to watch and not to be missed!
- Student Showcase (Friday & Saturday): See what students have been making in Clayworks classes and celebrate the creativity and growth of our learning community.
- Sticker Design Contest & Vote (Friday & Saturday): Clayworks students designed the contenders; you pick the winner! Stop by to cast your vote for your favorite sticker design.
- Community Planter Activity (Friday & Saturday): Get your hands dirty and help us make a coil pot for the Clayworks garden! This free, all-ages activity is open to the public and a great option for kids. No experience necessary – just show up and make something.
- Studio Passport Tour (Friday & Saturday): Pick up a Studio Passport and explore the Clayworks studios. Collect stamps along the way for a chance to win early registration for Summer 2026 classes!
