Chalk the Walk in Mt. Holly April 11 - Charlotte On The Cheap

Chalk the Walk is a free community event in Mount Holly, North Carolina, on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10 am. to 2 p.m.

It takes place in the Linear Park beside the Municipal Complex, 400 E Central Avenue.

At Chalk the Walk, artists of all ages and skill levels are invited to decorate a sidewalk square.

Schedule:

10:00 AM – Check in and decorating begins
1:00 PM – Judging
1:30 PM – Winners in each category announced
2:00 PM – Event ends

Age Categories:

Youth – 12 & under
Teen – Ages 13-18
Adult (Individual) – 19 & up
Adult (Group) – 19 & up

Prizes will be awarded to the top entries in each category.

Enjoy a day filled with creativity, music, and fun activities for kids. Grab a bite from one of the food vendors. Bring your chairs and blankets to relax and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.
