Matthews Summerfest May 8-9 - Charlotte On The Cheap

Matthews Summerfest (formerly BeachFest) is taking place May 8 and 9, 2026.

Friday, May 8: 6 to 10 p.m.
Saturday, May 9: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The festival takes place in and around Stumptown Park, 120 S. Trade Street, Matthews.

Admission is free. There’s a cost for rides and other activities. On Friday night you can get a $30 wristband for all-you-can-ride night in the Carnival.
