Celebrate the revitalized Mason Wallace Park, at 7301 Monroe Road, Charlotte, on Saturday, May 21st, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The park features hiking trails, tennis courts, basketball courts, a playground, a new picnic shelter and new fitness equipment.
The celebration features:
- Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation’s ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:00 a.m.
- Free food from Rey Taco Food Truck, compliments of AARP
- Fitness demos on the new equipment
- Tours of the park
- MoLi (pronounced “Molly”) Mobile Library on site
- League of Women Voters registering eligible adults and providing voting information
