North Carolina Dental Society Foundation is holding a North Carolina Missions of Mercy (NC MOM) Clinic at City Church, 3100 City Church Street, Gastonia, North Carolina, on October 2 and 3, 2026.
This is a FREE dental clinic. Doors open at 6 a.m. The clinics operate on a first-come, first-served basis until they’ve reached their capacity. It’s highly recommended that you arrive very early. Some patients begin arriving around midnight.
This event is intended for underserved patients. Although you don’t need to bring proof of income, you do need to sign an income disclosure when you register.

Services include:
- Cleanings
- Fillings
- Exams
- X-rays
- Extractions
Important notes for patients:
- This clinic is for adults only (ages 18 and older.)
- Service is first-come, first-served, with no appointments.
The primary care providers are licensed dentists, hygienists and dental assistants. Some care may be provided by students from the dental schools at the University of North Carolina or East Carolina University. Whenever students are providing care, professors from the dental schools supervise their work. Students are only allowed to perform procedures that they are already qualified to perform.
