Allegra Westbrooks Regional Library, at 2412 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, North Carolina, is hosting Autumn ComicFest on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 1:30 to 4 p.m.
This FREE all-ages event will feature FREE comic books to take home. Dress up as your favorite character!

Registration is required. One registration per household.
Registered participants may begin bringing their exchange items to the library Thursday, September 17 through Saturday, October 17. Advance drop-off is encouraged so that library staff and volunteers can organize items before the event.
Participants will receive one swap token or voucher for each accepted exchange item, with a maximum of 5 swap tokens per registered household.
1 accepted item = 1 token = 1 exchange item.
Accepted items may include:
- Halloween costumes for children, teens, and adults
- Cosplay costumes and pieces
- Masks, wigs, hats, capes, and costume accessories
- Trick-or-treat bags and buckets
- Indoor and outdoor Halloween decorations
- Other reusable Halloween items
Please do not bring food or candy, opened cosmetics, damaged or unsafe items, burned candles, excessively large decorations, or items that cannot reasonably be carried by one person.
