Canceled: As You Like It Waxhaw - free Shakespeare performances July 16-18

Come chill this summer and see this play of romance, power struggles, and great laughs by the bard himself, William Shakespeare!

Enjoy FREE performances of As You Like It, co-directed by Brian DeDora and Li Dorcee.

It takes place at Waxhaw Downtown Park, 301 Givens Street, Waxhaw, North Carolina, at 10 a.m. on three dates:

Thursday, July 16, 2026
Friday, July 17, 2026
Saturday, July 18, 2026

No outside food or drinks are allowed. Please bring a chair or blanket for comfortable lawn seating on the tiered grass risers.

Leading up to this event, there will be a promo event on July 5, 2026, at 7 p.m., at Waxhaw Tap House, 110 McDonald Street, Waxhaw, North Carolina. This event is a 20-minute collection of scenes, music and trivia about the show.
