Freezing Blueberries
By freezing blueberries, you can keep enjoying them long after this short season ends. Here’s how to do it.
- Don’t wash them until you’re ready to eat or freeze them (you can keep them uncovered on your counter for several days or a week.)
- When you’re ready to freeze them, wash them and let them completely dry, by spreading them on paper towels or clean kitchen towels.
- Put them in a single layer on a baking sheet in the freezer, making sure not to crowd them
- Once they freeze, just roll them into labeled freezer bags
- Enjoy for a long time!
