Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation’s annual summer music series is back in 2026. Meck Sounds concerts will take place monthly from May to August at various Park and Recreation locations.
The concerts are free to attend, so grab your family and friends, a blanket and lawn chairs, and get ready for nights of music, food and fun under the stars.
Each concert will run from 7 to 9 p.m.
This renewed and amplified series, previously known as the Sundown Sounds Music Series, will feature food trucks on-site. Beer will also be available for purchase for adults age 21 and older.
No outside alcohol will be permitted. Attendees can also complete a short survey to enter a raffle. Raffle winners will be selected during each concert to receive a summer swag bag of beach day essentials.
