Queen City Art is presenting Premiere: The Making of the Bridge on May 27, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. This event is free to attend.
To celebrate Mental Health Awareness month, experience the Bridge to Wellness (made of story and string). Walk through, hear the stories, and witness the power of collective healing.
This is the public opening of The Bridge to Wellness. Conceived by one. Created by many hands.
May 27, 1937 – The Golden Gate Bridge opened to the world.
May 27, 2026 – A different kind of bridge opens in Charlotte. Not made of steel and cable but of string, stories and light.
It stands as a beacon – a reminder that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
