
Carolina Raptor Center and Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation are hosting STEAM Day at Latta on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Carolina Raptor Center at Latta Nature Preserve, 6345 Sample Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078.
This day of adventure, exploration and hands-on learning, featuring science, technology, engineering, arts and math fun for all ages.
Advance ticketing is required.
Tickets are:
- Adults (ages 23-64): $16
- Students (ages 13-22): $14
- Child (ages 3-12): Free
- Seniors (ages 65+): $14
- Teacher/military with ID: $12
This event features access to the Raptor Trail, a zoo highlighting birds of prey and home to more than 30 avian ambassadors and opportunities to engage with community partners to learn about STEAM through hands-on activities.
There will also be several programs throughout the day (schedule coming soon). For the safety of guests and birds, programs have limited capacity and are first come, first serve. Seating begins 15 minutes before the program begins.
