Menorah Lighting in Matthews Dec. 16 - Charlotte On The Cheap

The Town of Matthews’ Menorah lighting will take place on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., in front of Matthews Town Hall, 232 Matthews Station Street, Matthews, North Carolina.

This event is free and open to the public.

The celebration will include music, dreidels, chocolate gelt and the lighting of the giant Menorah on the Town Green.

Hanukkah begins the evening of Sunday, December 14, 2025, and the final evening is Sunday, December 21, 2025. Learn about all the Hanukkah celebrations in the Charlotte area!
