Got LEGOs just sitting around the house? Now is the perfect time to trade them in for a LEGO e-Gift Card! But don’t delay – this is a limited-time LEGO Brick Take Back program!
Why the buyback?
LEGO is on a mission to keep LEGOs in play for generations to come. To achieve this, they established a take-back program to reuse LEGO bricks, thereby keeping them circulating for future play.
And in the process, they’ll reward you for sending in the LEGOs with an e-gift card to buy new ones or new sets!
How does it work?
First, you can check the trade-in value here. (LEGO is reimbursing $4.00/pound of accepted LEGO bricks)
Once you have the information, disassemble the LEGO bricks and place them in a mailing package. (LEGO provides you with a FREE shipping label!)
Once the LEGO team verifies the bricks, you’ll get an email with your LEGO e-gift card to spend! It’s as simple as that.
What can I send back?
There are a few rules about what is or isn’t accepted:
Accepted
- LEGO bricks and elements that are fully disassembled and in good condition
- LEGO Minifigures and Mini-dolls (no need to disassemble)
- LEGO Baseplates
Not Currently Accepted
- LEGO® DUPLO® bricks or elements
- Non-LEGO bricks, elements, or toys
- Any LEGO bricks or elements that are connected to another piece
- Batteries or electronic components
- Storage containers, packaging, or building instructions
