Charlotte Center City concerts
St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, at 115 West 7th at North Tryon Street, is hosting free Center City Concerts the third Monday of every month from September 2014 through May 2015. The concerts take place at noon. On two dates the concerts will also take place at 7:30 p.m.

Free parking is available in the TransAmerica Building parking deck across 7th Street from St. Peter’s (look for the big blue “P”). If you park there, the ticket machine will provide a ticket to be validated at St. Peter’s in order to exit the deck at no charge.

Conducted by William Osborne, St. Peter’s associate organist Aaron Goen and members of the Charlotte Symphony perform concertos by Rachel Laurin, Derek Healey, Michel Corrette and John Stanley. Also on the program is Benjamin Britten’s Simple Symphony, a delightful piece for strings alone. Composers Derek Healey and Rachel Laurin will be in attendance.
