St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, at 115 West 7th at North Tryon Street, is hosting free Center City Concerts the third Monday of every month from September 2014 through May 2015. The concerts take place at noon. On two dates the concerts will also take place at 7:30 p.m.

Free parking is available in the TransAmerica Building parking deck across 7th Street from St. Peter’s (look for the big blue “P”). If you park there, the ticket machine will provide a ticket to be validated at St. Peter’s in order to exit the deck at no charge.

Organist Marilyn Keiser in Recital
Dr. Marilyn Keiser, Chancellor’s Professor of Music Emeritus at Jacob’s School of Music, Indiana University, will play a classic organ recital showcasing St. Peter’s pipe organ, C. B. Fisk Opus 136 (2010). The program will include a broad range of repertoire played with Dr. Keiser’s inimitable style and grace, including works by Mendelssohn, Bach, and Rheinberger.

This special organ recital will also be offered in a longer version at 7:30 PM with a reception following.
