Charlotte Center for the Arts is presenting the inaugural Youth Arts Festival on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 1 to 5 p.m., at Stumptown Park, 120 S Trade Street, Matthews, North Carolina.
This is a free event.
Youth Arts Festival is a celebration of youth creativity and is the first of its kind in the Charlotte area. This vibrant, family-friendly event showcases the incredible artistic talents of young people throughout the Charlotte area through live performances, interactive art-making activities, gallery displays, and creative workshops.
Enjoy music, dance and theater performances by:
- Performance Academy of Music
- Jessie Booth Productions
- Shine Musical Theatre
- Piedmont Players Theatre
- Ignite Dance Productions
- Blaze Bhangra
- Lumi School of Musical Theatre
- China Grove Elementary School
- Eagles Wings
There will be interactive stations for attendees of all ages to explore their own creativity through hands-on projects led by professional teaching artists and community arts organizations.
The festival also features a youth art gallery and vendor booths.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the afternoon.
Stop by at the Charlotte Center for the Arts Welcome Table for a FREE raffle ticket for a chance to win a basket of prizes from raffle donors.
There will be three food trucks and dessert trucks on site.
