Mindless Minutia is presenting Wizarding Winter Carnival on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 2 to 8 p.m., at HopFly Brewing Company, 1327 South Mint Street, Charlotte, North Carolina.
This is a full day of magic-themed activities for all ages. Tickets are $30, but there’s a Black Friday sale, with $10 off, going on through Monday, December 2, 2025. Purchase tickets for $20 through Monday.
Carnival goes from 2:00pm-8:00pm. You are welcome to come for the entire carnival, BUT the time slot you purchase a ticket for will be the ONLY 2 our period you have to participate and complete the Mindless Minutia carnival activities.
Prizes will be awarded at 7:30pm, you DO NOT have to be present to win.
Activities at Wizarding Winter Carnival
Magical Games & Activities: Try your luck at games straight from the wizarding world! Test your wand skills at the Spellcasting Target Range, collect all the Horcruxes, or conquer the Potion-Brewing Challenge. Don’t miss the Quidditch Corn Hole or the Divination Emporium for a chance to win magical prizes!
Hogsmeade Vendor Village: Browse a spellbinding selection of vendors offering handcrafted wizard wares, from wands and potions to enchanted jewelry and magical-themed art. Perfect for finding unique gifts or souvenirs to remember your magical day.
Prizes & Surprises: Compete in games and activities to earn points toward magical prizes, including gift baskets, exclusive wizard merch, and more! Prizes will be given to the best dressed witches or wizards.
Delicious Food and Special Themed Drinks
Immersive Wizard Experiences: Step into a Potion Mixing Workshop, have your fortune told, get a tiny magical tattoo, enjoy an enchanted cup of coco or butter beer. There is magic around every corner, patiently waiting for you to find it.
Support the Phoenix Fellowship: The Phoenix Fellowship provides partner organizations with opportunities to connect with the community to promote upcoming events and to raise funds. A portion of proceeds from carnival ticket sales will be provided to partner organizations to support their fundraising and philanthropic work.
