Whimstay is a new way to save big on last-minute travel

As you make travel plans, especially if you’re planning a trip in the next 30 days, consider a rental through Whimstay.

Whimstay is a relatively new online travel service. It’s similar to Airbnb and VRBO (with a familiar user interface if you use those services) with one really major difference.

What is different about Whimstay?

Rental prices (for the same homes) are less expensive than on Airbnb and VRBO. Most of the rentals on Whimstay are the very same ones listed on the other platforms, but Whimstay requires the price to be at least 10% less than the other platforms for trips in the next 30 days.

For each listing, Whimstay includes a link to the Airbnb and/or VRBO listing for the same property on the same dates, so you can compare for yourself.

Whimstay fills nights that might be overlooked by other channels. When someone cancels last-minute or a property has a few days open between bookings, professional property managers list those stays on Whimstay at lower rates.

One great tip for finding the best deals as soon as they show up is to set a “Price Drop Alert.” Just enter the location you want to travel to and the dates you’d like to travel, and then click on “Set a Price Drop Alert.” Enter your email address and you’ll be the first to know when a bargain deal is added.
