Waxhaw's Third Annual Juneteenth Celebration

The Town of Waxhaw is hosting its annual Juneteenth celebration on Friday, 19, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Downtown Park, 301 Givens Street, Waxhaw, NC.

The celebration will feature:

Performances
Free face painting and balloon twisting
Interactive Drum Circle with Drums 4 Life
Juneteenth inspired digital art
Live mural painting
Live screen printing (first 100 shirts are free)
Story Walk with Union County Library

Food vendors:

Sandra Lee’s Country Kitchen
Pelican’s Snowballs
Even Layer Cakes
