Santa at Unsheltered Tortoise & Turtle for Christmas in July on July 18

Unsheltered Tortoise and Turtle is a wildlife care rescue at 9405 Beatties Ford Road, Huntersville, North Carolina. It was founded in 2023. The organization rehabilitates turtles in need and provides a sanctuary home for tortoises.

Unsheltered Tortoise and Turtle is hosting Santa Claus for Shells, Santa & Sunshine on Saturday, July 18, 2026.

You’ll be able to take pictures with Santa and the tortoises! (With your own camera.) Don’t forget to tell Santa your wish list! It’s not too early!

Sessions are from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m.

The cost is a donation of $10 per person (kids under age 5 admitted for free.) Register here. Space fills up quickly for these events, so don’t delay.

Things to Know:

• Once you order your tickets you’ll recieve everything you need to know about location & parking via email.
• Everything is outside, please dress accordingly for the weather.
• There is a porta potty on site.
• You’ll be walking on mulch paths, we highly recommend you wear closed toed shoes.
• Bring water but if you forget, there will be some available.
• There are lots of shaded locations and chairs to relax in.
• They are located on a working farm – there will be plants and some vegetables available on site.
