Exciting news for University City! The University City Farmers Market has started up at Shoppes at University Place!
It will take place every Saturday in October, along the lake, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and then will take a break until its return in 2021.
The market will feature local growers and makers, as well as live music and cooking demonstrations.
In addition, there will be a pumpkin patch at the farmers’ market.
Shoppes at University Place is easy to get to by car, light rail (the JW Clay Station is right there) or by bike from the Toby Creek Greenway.
It’s at 8929 J M Keynes Drive, at the corner of W.T. Harris Boulevard and U.S. 29 (N. Tryon Street.)
If you’re interested in getting here by bike via the Toby Creek Greenway, we give detailed directions in our guide to the Toby Creek Greenway.
