Trouble So Hard uses music and storytelling to guide audiences along a historical timeline beginning with the arrival of the first enslaved black West Africans into present-day Georgia.
It features songs and stories of slavery, freedom and civil rights.
You’ll have two chances to see Trouble So Hard in the Charlotte area during Black History Month, February of 2026. Both are free to attend, but you need to register.
