The Town of Davidson is hosting their 3rd Annual Pumpkin Smash & Shoot at Fisher Farm Archery Range, 21215 Shearer Road, Davidson, North Carolina, on Sunday, November 9. 2025, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Bring your pumpkin, and destroy it with an arrow (or smash it.) Pumpkins will also be launched! The pumpkin remains will be composted.
There will be plenty of pumpkins if you don’t have one to use.
This is a FREE event.
Can’t make it to the Pumpkin Smash & Shoot event, but want to have your pumpkin composted? Community members can drop off their post-Halloween pumpkins outside of the Davidson Town Hall & Community Center beginning Monday, November 3 through Friday, November 7 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. All pumpkins will be taken to the Pumpkin Smash & Shoot event and composted afterwards.
