Discovery Place Kids-Huntersville and CPCC are teaming up to bring a Touch a Truck Festival to CPCC’s Merancas Campus, 11920 Verhoeff Drive, Huntersville, on Saturday, April 28th, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This free family festival will allow kids to explore first responder vehicles, construction trucks, 18-wheelers and other trucks of all shapes and sizes. From mini-excavators to fire trucks, over 40 trucks and vehicles, including an array of cars like the electric Tesla, will be available for children and their families to touch and explore.
Discovery Place Kids educators will be on-site to investigate the science behind these terrific trucks with hands-on interactives like Makey Makey simple circuits challenges, Roller Ramps, Gears Galore and much more.
Then keep the fun going with a bounce house, face painting, music and more.
A cookout will be provided by CPCC’s Skills USA Club for a voluntary donation (while supplies last.)
