It’s a family friendly musical variety show. Bands and musicians each play two songs. You might see a jazz pianist, followed by bluegrass band, followed by a classical guitar virtuoso. All in all you will experience the music of approximately 15 acts.
Tosco Music Party is a Charlotte tradition going back more than 25 years. It started as a gathering of friends in John Tosco’s living room and kept growing. Now the show fills the 1,200 seat Knight Theater. But it’s still a gathering of friends. A few times during the evening the audience stands and joins in a sing-a-long (lyrics provided) backed by the excellent Tosco House Band and Singalong Choir.
The musical acts are a combination of local and regional bands and nationally and internationally touring artists. Go to Tosco Music Party and you might see the next big act. Lots of folks wish they had gone to the show where The Avett Brothers performed.
The next Tosco Music Party takes place Saturday, April 20, 2019, at 7:30 p.m. Prices range from $15.50 to $31.50. Purchase tickets here.
