The 3rd Annual Homegrown Tomato Festival will take place Saturday, July 27th, 2019, at Neighborhood Theatre.
A key component of that festival is the homegrown tomato competition. Although the festival is not for a while, if you want to compete you need to get started soon.

If you enter the competition you will receive 7 bags of premium compost from festival sponsor SOIL3.
There will also be a free tomato growing clinic that will give you lots of tips for growing better tomatoes.
The growers clinic takes place Saturday, March 30th, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at The Evening Muse.
Growing guru extraordinaire, Erin Hostetler, Owner of the Patio Farmer, will be hosting a tomato clinic at the Evening Muse on Saturday, March 30th from 11am – 1pm. All tomato growing skill levels are welcome. She’ll be discussing her best tips and tricks to grow your very own ripe and delectable maters’.
The Growers Clinic is the kick-off event for the 2019 Homegrown Tomato Festival.
Kevin Helms, 2017 Homegrown Tomato Festival Tomato Growing Champion, will also be presenting his tips and tricks at the Growers Clinic.
