The Spoke Easy, at 1530 Elizabeth Avenue, is both a bicycle shop and a bar. So you can buy a bike and a beer. They also do bike repairs here.

The Bike Around the World features a film from a specific country, complemented by a potluck. Next stop is the Italy! The movie is The Bicycle Thief (1948) written by Cesare Zavattini, Luigi Bartolini, and Oreste Biancoli, directed by Vittorio De Sica.
In post-war Italy, a working-class man’s bicycle is stolen, endangering his efforts to find work. He and his son set out to find it.
This event is potluck style, so feel free to make a tasty Italian dish to share!
