
Taste of Charlotte, a three-day festival in Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina, spotlights area restaurants and food vendors. The festival also features three stages of live entertainment, and a kids’ area.
The festival takes place on Tryon Street from Trade Street to Brooklyn Village Avenue.

The 24th Annual Taste of Charlotte will take place June 6 to 8, 2025
- Friday, June 6: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Saturday, June 7: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Sunday, June 8: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The festival offers a mix of family entertainment, unique shopping, live music, kids’ activities, beer and wine, and more than 100 menu items from Charlotte restaurants to sample.
There’s no admission charge. Festival coins will be available for food and drink, as well as kids’ activities.

Festival Coins
A Taste of Charlotte Tasting Coin Cup is $20 and contains 14 coins. The coins are used for food, beverages and kids’ activities. You can purchase the coins on site. You can also download the Taste of Charlotte app and buy your tasting coins digitally. Learn more.

Kids’ Activities at Taste of Charlotte

Kids activities are located throughout the festival, with a bigger grouping of activities on Levine Avenue. Each kids’ activity requires 2 to 5 festival coins.
The kids activities are open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Unlimited activity wristbands are $20 on Friday and Saturday, and are $15 on Sunday.

Sunday is Family Fun Day. Kids Activity Wristbands are available for $15, for unlimited rides, slides and more. Character meet and greets will take place in the Kids’ Zone.
Marketplace
At the marketplace shop for unique gifts from artists and artisans. You’ll find paintings, hand-painted hats, henna tattoos, candles and much more.
