WDAV’s Small Batch Concert at Free Range Brewing: Anita Graef on Jan. 15

WDAV Classical Public Radio’s Small Batch Concert Series has returned for the 2025/2026 season. This popular chamber music series presents innovative music in an unconventional, laid-back atmosphere.

The concerts will take place at Free Range Brewing, 2320 N Davidson Street, Charlotte, North Carolina.

This season, WDAV offers a Pay What You Can ticketing model for all Small Batch events.

Ticket buyers are invited to name the price that works best for them, and attendees who purchase tickets at the $20 level and above will receive a limited edition Small Batch pint glass and a Free Range beer or nonalcoholic beverage of their choice.

Please note that if you reserve a free ticket, that doesn’t guarantee a place to sit. Please arrive early. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Acclaimed cellist Anita Graef makes her Small Batch concert series debut Thursday, January 15 at Free Range Brewing! WDAV is pleased to welcome this extraordinary young musician, praised for her “superb artistry” and “high energy and polish,” to Charlotte for a distinctive solo cello recital. A winner of the 2022 Gheens Young Artist Award and the 2021 American Prize, Graef has prepared a captivating program featuring works by Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson, Gaspar Cassadó, J.S. Bach, and more.
