Celebrate the Grand Opening of Rewind: A Goodwill Record & Media Store.
Opening in the heart of downtown Matthews at 100 W. Matthews Street, Rewind: A Goodwill Record & Media Store will bring together music lovers, collectors, and bargain hunters in a space dedicated to the thrill of discovering physical media.
From vinyl records and CDs to DVDs, cassette tapes, VHS tapes, and more, Rewind will feature a constantly rotating inventory of donated treasures waiting to be rediscovered.
The grand opening date is Friday, September 4, 2026. Starting at 10 a.m.:
- The first 50 customers in line will receive a limited-edition Rewind tote bag.
- Spin the prize wheel for a chance to win additional giveaways and prizes.
- Browse a unique selection of vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, cassette tapes, VHS tapes, and more.

Opening Weekend Extended Hours
Planning to spend some time digging through the stacks? To give you extra time to browse and explore, Rewind will offer extended hours throughout grand opening weekend:
- Friday, September 4: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Saturday, September 5: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Sunday, September 6: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
After grand opening weekend, regular store hours and donation drop-off hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
